Hawthorne stalked along the sandy beach under the sparkling starlight. No moon was to be seen, but there was still enough light to see by. Right now she was in the form of a black tiger with bright red stripes. Her paws padded across the shoreline with ease.
As she neared a nice spot cleared of rocks she sat down. Turning her eyes to the sky she observed the stars with her glowing emerald eyes. Then she shifted her forms into one of a human.
Hawthorne's form was lean and her skin a milky white, even in the dim night. The hair that fell to her waist in tight braids was a raven black. She strethced her arms once and then dropped them to her sides as she sat cross-legged.
"Star light, star bright, first star I see tonight. I wish I may, I wish I might, have the wish, I wish tonight." A soft whisper passed her ruby lips. "I wish... I knew what I wish for..."
She sighed, a common phenomenon for her. She grabbed a braid and ran her hands along it once before leaning back on her elbows and playing connect the dots with the stars.

Hawthorne perked up and turned herself to see a boy standing near her. She smiled sweetly and nodded to his comment. "It's quite beautiful out here. I'm enjoying the night sky a lot."
She pat the sand beside her. "Please, sit, I'd love some company."
She swept the long back train of her silver tunic under her legs so it was not in the way should he decide to stretch his legs or such. Then she looked out to the sea where waves gently cascaded to the shore. She watched them turn over and over for a bit.
"It's simply wonderful..." she whispered.

"yes it truely is, nature in its true form, i wish all of life was like this with out corruption for power," said Draco as he sat down next to her "so whats your name anyways,"
Draco looked up at the sky and looked at the gemini constilation, "wow i wish when i die that i could be in the stars, since i wont find what im longing for."

Hawthorne faced him. "I'm Hawthorne Loft."
She followed his eyes to the same constellation. "I love Gemini. The theory of twins, souls connected. It's awesome." As he mentioned dying and not finding something she became curious. "What is it that you'll never find?"
She herself felt she'd lack something when she died. She just couldn't place what. She'd have to continue to work at finding out what she felt she missed.

"Wow... a love and a family. I don't think I knew a single man who actually wanted a family." She said, gazing at him in awe.
"I myself find it hard to find anyone worth caring for. It could also be because I do not get out enough..." She shrugged and placed her hands on her braids again.
"I can imagine being 700 years old as well. I myself am not as young as I look, though I'm not 700..." She paused, then continued on. "I hope you find someone. I myself might be missing that same thing, someone to care for... Then again... maybe not... It'd be nice if I knew."

Hawthorne shrugged. "I suppose if they have done you a great service, so should you return, yes. It's sad that it means you must wait for what you want so badly though."
When the subject turned to her life she laughed shortly. "What a joke... my life is boring too! It seems I spend most of my days lounging around the castle, and most of my nights wishing I wasn't..."
She lowered her eyes to her lap where she then dropped her hands. "This is the first night in some time that I've been out. I'm glad you happened to be out too. I feared nothing would happen at all tonight and I would go home disappointed and no longer wishing to leave the castle."
"At least now I know people do exist outside the palace walls..." She added after a minute pause.

"why dont you get your own place like i have, you do know royalty can lead there own life, you dont always have to follow the family," said Draco.

Hawthorne shrugged. "I feel obliged to stay with my family... however, I was thinking that recently. Perhaps I will consider it again."
She smiled a bit and stood up. Then she walked to the water up to her knees. It was cold, but she didn't mind. She stood in the water for a bit, just staring at the stars. "They are breathtaking... aren't they? I think we've been over this or something close... but I can't ignore their beauty for long."
